We’re excited for so much in December, and thankful for so much that has happened throughout this festive year of 2013. Since this will be the last month of 2013, we had to be perfect in finding the right Hmoodle Girl. We’ve scoured the nation to find this perfect candidate, and we are proud to introduce you all to our December’s Hmoodle Girl Priscilla Yang.

Hmoodle: Thank you for being part of Hmoodle, how are you today?

Priscilla: I am great! Thank you for selecting me to be featured on Hmoodle!

Hmoodle: For those that may not know who you are, can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

Priscilla: I am 20 years old, was born and raised in Fresno, and am currently a pre-nursing major at Fresno State. I have a passion for modeling and a passion for helping people. I am also easily amazed by everything and anything because there is a lot to enjoy in life.

Hmoodle: When did you discover that you have a passion for modeling?

Priscilla: I always wanted to be an actress or a model because I love dressing up and being someone different from who I would be otherwise. I love makeup and fashion and have loved modeling ever since I started last year. I get to meet so many inspiring and talented people and it’s just awesome!

Hmoodle: Do you see yourself in the modeling industry years from now, perhaps open a modeling agency?

Priscilla: I hope so, but at the moment, it is only a hobby. If I was taller, I think I would have more opportunities, but since I am only 5’0, it is hard to want to make something more out of it. I have considered opening a modeling agency one day, but that day is probably far from now. I think it would be exciting to open a Hmong modeling agency because there are a lot of talented and dedicated Hmong models that should be recognized in the modeling and fashion industry.

Hmoodle: Besides modeling, do you have any other passions that you are pursuing?

Priscilla: I am currently pursuing nursing. Becoming a nurse is my primary focus because I love interacting with people and helping others. I would love to pursue makeup and fashion design one day, but I need to learn how to sew first!

Hmoodle: What other leisurely activities do you do to entertain yourself while you’re not focusing on the harder stuff in life, like sports, video games, or dancing. Do you keep yourself occupied with any of these activities during your spare time?

Priscilla: I love playing video games and sports. I also enjoy fishing in my spare time. I don’t really dance anymore, but I have done Polynesian dancing and hip hop in the previous years as well as Hmong dancing. I would say that I am a pretty active person that participates in a variety of things.

Hmoodle: Any last words to your friends, fans, supporters and family?

Priscilla: First of all, I would like to thank Hmoodle again for selecting me as Miss December 2013. I would also like to thank everyone for their support, as well as all of the amazing photographers I have worked with, all of the talented and beautiful people at The Makeup Imaginarium, the awesome crew, designers, stylists, MUA’s and models of Revived, and my friends and family. You all mean so much to me and are all talented in everything you do. To all of my readers, thank you for reading. Continue pursuing your dreams and don’t give up. You’ll never know how far you can get until you try. Thank you and have a wonderful day.

Thank you Priscilla! It was a delight in getting to know a little about you. Definitely ending with the right passage to your fans, “You’ll never know how far you can get until you try.” That was perfect signature sign out indeed! Never stop dreaming, never give up and keep dreaming and living up to what you want to become because you’ll never know how far you can get or what you can become in life. We kind of just stole it and elaborated a little there, but hey, you get the picture. Once more, thank you Priscilla for your time!
